Step-by-step Guide

Pre-Check
Confirm the battery switch is pushed up, toward the wires on the button casing.

Gather Your Keys
Grab all your key fobs and your ignition key.

Enter Pairing Mode
Close all doors. Insert key and cycle OFF → ON eight times, ending on ON.

Confirm Entry
Door locks will cycle — the car is now in pairing mode.

Register Devices
Press a button on each fob one at a time, then press the Kera trunk release button.

Finish Pairing
Turn ignition OFF. Pairing is complete.

Remove Panel
Open center console. Pull the left plastic cover up and out from the bottom.

Snap It In
Insert top clips first, then push the bottom in until it seats flush.
Max 3 fobs + 1 trunk button. To unpair a remote, redo the pairing cycle and skip pressing that fob.

Pull Button Out
Remove the button from the console panel with your fingers.

Open the Casing
Use a small flathead to pry the back cover from the opposite side of the wires. Two clips — light pressure only.

Swap the Battery
Drop in a fresh CR2032 and clip the cover back on.
4
Reinstall
Top clips first, then push the bottom in until flush.
CR2032 battery — sold at any pharmacy or hardware store. Under a minute total.
